We will host a collaborative workshop focused on developing ethical guidelines for AI usage in STEM education research, with hands-on sessions, consensus-building activities, and discussions with leading experts to shape responsible AI usage practices that benefit education research communities.

Workshop Overview
Learn about the workshop’s participatory design and consensus process for developing ethical AI guidelines in STEM education research.
Day One: Introduction & Framework
Begin with foundational discussions on AI ethics, followed by collaborative sessions to build usage considerations for STEM education research.
Day Two: Consensus Building
Engage in participatory activities to structure the guidelines, ensuring input from a broad range of STEM education researchers.
Finalizing Guidelines
Conclude with consensus agreement and outline actionable steps for adopting the ethical AI guidelines in future research.
